![]() Based on findings in tombs, archeaologists think that girls and women made pots and figurines! The pots were used for keeping food and water and other items. The figurines were made to look like the Bird Goddess, Snake Goddess, Frog Goddess, White Goddess of Death, Pregnant Goddess, and others. The Pregnant Goddess was often found on the hearth near the oven where bread was probably baked.
These are drawings of artifacts found on Malta. Archeaologists believe pots that looked like this were made during the time when Maia may have lived.
